First time making Lasagna. It really burned through my tomato sauce jars like they were nothing.
I used about two and a half jars making this. I thought I was going over board with the sauce but the lasagna actually came out pretty dry. I just followed the recipe on the back of the lasagna pasta box. I didn’t know you needed to spread an egg/cheese mixture into it. I thought it was just layers of cheese and meat. Maybe it was different since this was a “no boil” lasagna.
Anyways, this was great for at least 3 days worth of meals. It was delicious. I just had to add some extra sauce on top. But overall, pretty simple to make and really easy to store and heat up for later consumption.
Not sure if it’s supposed to come out looking all that wrinkly and dry…I probably needed to cover it with more sauce. I also put a thin layer of pesto sauce in there, but you couldn’t even tell.
