Korean Music Wave

Monday, May 21, 2012. TVXQ, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, Girls’ Generation, KARA, B2ST, MBLAQ, SISTAR, f(x) all at Google for this FREE concert!

I can’t believe I’m actually blogging about this the day after! Ah, yes, summer break has finally begun for me. 

I have to start of by thanking Joe and Allison since they actually gave us their extra tickets. Getting tickets online was pretty much a luck game since the site was crashed and you had to be lucky enough to go through three pages without having the page crash on you. So thank you thank you thank you! You guys are awesome! 

Finals from 7:15AM - 12PM and then Jacky swung by to pick me up along with Mindy, Joe, and Eric. 

Driving from San Jose to Mountain View was a breeze but finding parking was a huge hassle since we thought concert parking wouldn’t open until like 4 or 5pm. We ended up circling around numerous times and asking workers, but we finally managed to reach the parking lot.

*All of these photos are taken with my iPhone. The rules online stated they prohibited cameras, but it seemed like they didn’t care since there were a lot of people taking photos. Darn, should have at least brought my digital camera, but it’s all good. All of this is online anyways!

Grabbing things to do to pass the time. I forgot about what to bring so all I had was my phone.

Looks like the person next to us is a hardcore MBLAQ fan.

So many people riding around with these colorful Google bikes! So many different colored ones.

So excited! About four hours until doors open and six hours until the show actually starts!

Looks like the line was already stretching very far.

I simply passed the time by staring around at the landscape, listening to music on my phone, and just daydreaming. Thank goodness we had shade.

Food while waiting in the line was a slice of chiffon cake from Mindy (not pictured), grilled pork sandwich from Lee’s, and cookie brownie from Brittany!

Sadly all the seats were full so we had to go up into the lawn.

There was this platform thing, but sadly it was the handicap zone so they made us move.

The lawn it is! Not as great of a view, but it’s still a free concert so I’m not complaining!

The show is finally starting!

My view. So happy that we were the cut off point of where people were standing and sitting. I could get a nice view of the stage from just kneeling! 

I wish people would actually dance or move their bodies a bit. People looked so stone still and it made it awkward when I wanted to totally dance like crazy.

An amazing concert with so many great artists! And even more amazing that it was completely free!
