Com Tam Thien Huong

Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Ate lunch here for their Nem Nuong Cuon.

One of my sister’s newfound favorite foods is this type of spring roll she tried while she was down in LA. She searched for nearby places with this dish as well and we ended up going to Com Tam Thien Huong, which was just about a 30 minute bus ride there (10 minutes driving).

The place was in a strip mall with a bunch of other vietnamese shops.

Clean, open interior

Nem Nuong Cuon

Price: 4 for $7.00 (2 for $3.50)

The sauce was also unique and something I’ve never had before. Apparently it also had ground beef in it! I loved the consistency, but I think I would have liked it more if the flavor was stronger. I still liked it though!

Inside of the roll.

Grilled shrimp and shrimp cake

Price: $7.50

The shrimp cake was basically shrimp cake wrapped in a crispy bean curd. It was alright. The overall dish was decent, but I would definitely just go for the Nem Nuong next time. 4 rolls would definitely be filling.
