Bread Pizza

Experimenting with food again. Decided to make some sort of pizza with my surplus of bread in the fridge. No exact recipe and just the process and ingredients I used since I didn’t measure anything out.

Ingredients used:
- Chinese Sausage
- Mushrooms
- Monterey Jack Cheese
- Whole Wheat Bread
- Tomato Sauce
- Garlic Powder
- Red Chili Powder
- Black Ground Pepper

First I cooked the chinese sausage and mushrooms. Put in the chinese sausages first to let the far from the sausage oil the pan.

Then added in the mushrooms.

I kept cooking it until the mushrooms were pretty brown. I made sure to keep moving the ingredients in the pan around to prevent any burning.

While that was cooking, I went ahead and grated some cheese. After the meat and mushrooms were done, I removed them from the pan and put two slices of bread on.

I’ve never actually toasted bread on a pan before nor do I know if it works, but it seemed very reasonable. I also added powdered garlic on top of the bread so it’d be somewhat like garlic bread.

It was a success! Next I coated the bread in tomato sauce. I poured it on the top, flipped the bread over and poured more on the other side.

I put a little bit of cheese, followed by the sausages and mushrooms, and then topped it off with more cheese. I then flipped it over so the cheese would nicely melt across the sausage and mushrooms.

Look at that deliciousness. If only I had something green to put on top. Sadly, I didn’t so it’s just going to be left as so. It was still very delicious. The bread was quite soggy from the tomato sauce though so next time I’ll know not to let the bread soak the tomato sauce so much.
